Regional Workshops and Technical Assistance
Since 1998, Domestic Programs staff have conducted annual workshops for a state network of child advocacy groups to help them access and use census and survey data on children. We have also conducted workshops for the KIDS COUNT network on the use of geographic software (ArcView) for presenting spatial data on children. Throughout the year, DP staff provide general technical assistance as well as SAS programming assistance to child advocacy groups, researchers, and journalists who are working on issues related to children and families.
