In collaboration with the United Nations’ Population Fund (UNFPA), PRB produces an electronic and print compendium of national and subnational population and reproductive health indicators. The database contains 265 indicators for 165 countries, covering issues such as adolescent reproductive health, gender equality, HIV/AIDS, health disparities within countries, reproductive health commodity security, and other population, health, and socioeconomic indicators. Data for 1990 and the most recent year available are presented for all indicators, allowing users to track progress toward the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals and Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development. One-page summaries of each country’s and region’s population and health policies are provided.
The Country Profiles data and population policy profiles can be accessed online at www.unfpa.org/profile/default.cfm.
