Research Highlights in the Demography and Economics of Aging

With funding from the National Institute on Aging, PRB is producing the series Research Highlights in the Demography and Economics of Aging:

Today's Research on Aging

As part of the University of Michigan's efforts to disseminate research results from Centers for the Demography and Economics of Aging supported by the National Institute on Aging, PRB produces an e-newsletter series called Today's Research on Aging, web articles, audio and video interviews, and manages distribution of these web products. The e-newsletters, web articles, interviews, archived webcasts, and other activities highlight recent research and its implications for major government, business, social, and private audiences. The objectives of the project are:

  • To raise awareness of scientific findings among policy audiences.
  • To synthesize research results and to discuss implications of findings for public and private choices.
  • To improve communication with a broader community of information users.
  • To make results of research at the NIA centers on the demography and economics of aging better known among policy audiences.
