This announcement, issued by the Policy, Communication, and Advocacy Enhanced for Population and Reproductive Health (PACE) project, invites organizations and institutions to apply for a subaward to help identify, train, and provide ongoing capacity building and technical assistance to young leaders in Africa.
This activity is designed to train young advocates and researchers on how to communicate evidence to policymakers and decisionmakers, and how to promote evidence-based policymaking in support of integrated and multisectoral approaches to community and national development.
The subaward recipient will have the managerial, financial, and administrative experience and capabilities to organize and implement capacity building and technical assistance activities for young advocacy and research leaders. The program is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID); for this reason, we can only accept applications that come from countries where USAID supports increased access to voluntary family planning information and services. In addition, applicants must be prepared to accept an award issued in accordance with USAID Standard Provisions for Non-U.S. Nongovernmental Organizations, including Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance provisions.
Download the announcement and application using the “Download” button in the top left corner of this page. More information about the Youth Advocacy Training on Multisectoral Development and application process can be found in the announcement. Additional questions about the program are welcome.
