Population change is a measure of how much a population grows or declines during a specified time period.

The total population of a geographic area provides a foundation for tracking demographic trends.
UNITED STATES: TOTAL DEATHS
The total number of deaths in the United States increased from 2.4 million in 2009 to 2.7 million in 2016. An increase in deaths can indicate an aging population and/or an underlying public health issue.
