PRB Policy Fellow Aasha Jackson Receives Marshall Scholarship

Aasha Jackson, a PRB International Programs Policy Fellow, has been awarded a prestigious Marshall Scholarship to study at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine starting in 2018.

Under the Policy Fellow program, which is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development through the Policy, Advocacy, and Communication Enhanced (PACE) project, Jackson has been serving since 2015 as a policy associate in USAID’s Office of Population and Reproductive Health.

According to the scholarship’s website, up to 40 Marshall scholars are chosen each year among students who plan to pursue a graduate degree in the U.K. Jackson is a class of 2015 graduate of Brown University, which published this article about her Marshall scholarship and her study plans. She will pursue a master’s degree in public policy at Cambridge and a master’s degree in reproductive and sexual health research at the London School.
