Christopher Serem

Former Program Officer

Christopher Serem is a programs officer with PRB’s East Africa office in Nairobi, Kenya. He joined PRB in 2021. Serem has a background in public health and currently supports health systems strengthening in Kenya’s coastal counties. His roles include supporting budget advocacy initiatives to increase financial investment in health, specifically HIV prevention, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, and nutrition. He previously worked with the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics as a research officer, interacting closely with population data dynamics, and with the Kenya Red Cross Society, where he engaged with several community health programs. Serem holds a bachelor’s degree in public health from Moi University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in health economics and policy with the University of Nairobi.
