Gorrety Parmu

Former Policy Advisor

Gorrety Parmu was a policy analyst in International Programs. She joined PRB in 2020. Parmu has a background in maternal and child health, and humanitarian and community health works. She previously conducted maternal and child health research in Ghana and worked at World Relief to support refugees and victims of human trafficking. Parmu holds a master’s degree in global health from Georgetown University and two bachelor’s degree—one in community health and preventive medicine from Portland State University, and another in social work from Kyambogo University in Uganda.
