Executive Assistant, People & Culture Coordinator
Shay King is the executive assistant to President and CEO, Jeffrey Jordan, and a coordinator in People & Culture. King’s background has been in public school academia, and she has extensive knowledge in special education laws and regulation. She served for more than five years as the executive assistant to the founder/executive director and the chief academic officer at a public charter high school in the District of Columbia. Her experience includes managing compliance databases, coordinating required activities to obtain and maintain accreditation, and working with the school’s board of trustees as secretary and logistics coordinator. King has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Delaware State University and is completing her master’s degree in general psychology from Capella University.
