Laura Wedeen is senior program director in International Programs and serves as PACE senior deputy director for field programs. She brings more than 25 years of global public health experience to the job, including 18 years of overseas-based program leadership and management in the reproductive health sector. Previously, Wedeen served at PATH as senior advisor for policy and access and senior regional director for field programs. In addition to reproductive health, she brings technical expertise in youth and private sector programming, and in malaria, immunization, and maternal and child health. Wedeen has held long-term field positions in Haiti, Nepal, and Vietnam, and has worked recently in Cambodia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Senegal, and Kenya.
