Coming in September.
The Data Sheet is one of the most important thinking tools my students have.

For six decades, PRB has released the World Population Data Sheet—a trusted, independently curated snapshot of global population data used in classrooms, cited in policy testimony, and relied upon by researchers and journalists. But when public funding cuts dismantled USAID last January, funding for the 2025 edition disappeared along with it, creating the first publication gap since 1962.
The response to this news was swift and personal. Stories poured in from around the world about what the Data Sheet had made possible, and what its absence would mean for students, policymakers, and communities who depend on trusted population data to make decisions. Emboldened by this support, PRB brought together a new coalition of donors—and a 2026 edition will arrive this fall.
