2020 Census Quiz: Test Your Knowledge

The U.S. Constitution mandates that a census be taken every 10 years to count all peopleโ€”both citizens and noncitizensโ€”living in the United States. The first census was taken in 1790 and recorded a population of 3.9 million people. The 2010 Census counted 308.7 million people.
