Marissa Pine Yeakey

Former Program Director, Capacity Building

Marissa Pine Yeakey was a program director for capacity building in International Programs. She joined PRB in 2008. Yeakey directed PRB’s portfolio of work to strengthen advocates’ skills in communicating research. She has conducted policy communication workshops for experts in population and family planning around the world, training more than 200 individuals. She was also involved in research and writing for PRB’s publications and ENGAGE presentations, which use multimedia technologies to communicate complex health issues for global and regional policy audiences. Yeakey holds a Master of Health Science in reproductive, perinatal, and women’s health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a bachelor’s in human development and social relations from Earlham College.
