Reena Khaiya Atuma

Health Systems Strengthening Technical Officer

Reena Atuma is a health systems strengthening technical officer in International Programs. She has more than five years’ experience in public budget and policy analysis. Atuma has worked in the public finance management field, with expertise in conducting analysis on national and subnational health budgets, capacity building of nonstate actors on public finance management, and gender-responsive budgeting.  Atuma holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with information technology from Maseno University, a certificate in capacity development from DiploFoundation, and a certificate in public finance management from the International Monetary Fund. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in health economics and policy at the University of Nairobi.
